We came to a local car rental office in Cagliari to rent a car without a driver. There is the main cathedral in the main city of the island that was built in the XIII century. It was decorated by different people in different centuries. The tallest tower is named after San Pancrazio. In the center, there is a bastion of Saint Remy. These days, this is a place for receptions.

After exploring Cagliari, we drove around the surrounding shores and beaches. Also, make sure to visit some small towns to see the real locals' lifestyle.
Then we drove on the main road to Oristano. We also drove to the hill to look at the island and Mediterranean embroidery. A little away from the road, there is a megalithic tower of the XV century BC.
Moreover, we visited Bosa. The Serravalle Castle, where you can see the frescoes and sculptures of the XV century, was built in the XIII century. There are plenty of buildings of the XVIII-XIX centuries. The Witch Museum is a unique place in Oristano. It includes a lot of evidence samples of this 'profession'.

Then we crossed the island and drove to the east coast. The road goes through mountains, small mountain passes, and valleys. Our purpose was Olbia. There is the Nuraghe Prizhona megalithic complex of the XIV century BC. This is a grand structure that takes five hectares.
Along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, we moved to Cagliari. This is a very beautiful coast with many resorts and a large national park. It includes a large mountainous area with plants of dry subtropics. We casually drove around beaches, and then we reached the city where we had started our journey.
