Can I rent a car if I am not a resident of the country?
Yes, you can. You will need to present a valid international passport, a driving licence, valid in the Russian Federation and a visa in your passport or a migration card.
How can I rent a car?
To rent a car you can book it online via our website or by by contacting us on the phone 8 495 505 504 1 or in person at our Genser centre. Preliminary booking will save you time when picking up your car. You have to have a passport, a driving licence and any of the documents listed (a military card, an international passport, a credit or debit card, a pension certificate, an insurance certificate (Mandatory pension insurance).
How can I get free replacement of the car?
The vehicle is handed over to the customer on condition that Customer service card type A1 is presented. (issued since 01.02.2013).
Validity period of car replacement use is 3 (three) days a year since the date of a vehicle insurance contract.
A minimum period of car replacement use is 1 day.
The vehicle is available to Genser customers under an open order form from the bodywork or mechanical work shop except for cases at the time of MOT.
You must give a 24-hour notice to the car rental company about your intention to use Free vehicle replacement service. At a later notice we can not guarantee the vehicle availability and it can be carried out if there is any technical feasibility.
Are the cars insured?
Yes, all our rental cars are insured (CTP, Comprehensive Cover).
Is a deposit required?
Yes, it is. A deposit is your liability for any damage of the rental car. When you return the rental car without any damage, your deposit is refunded. No deposit is required for Genser customers as their cars are serviced at Genser centre.
Are therу mileage limits?
Our rate includes 200 km per day, extra kilometres are subject to extra charges depending on a car class. You can purchase the option “Unlimited mileage”. This means that you can drive as much as you want throughout Moscow and Moscow region.
What does «Weekend rate» mean?
«Weekend rate» means that you rent a car from Friday 3 pm to Monday 10 am with the limit of 500 km. The cost stated in the price-list is for the entire period. All additional extras are paid for 3 days.
In which case is franchise mandatory to pay?
Franchise is mandatory to pay in case you are officially found quilty of any damage to the vehicle or damage done by an unidentified third party.
Where can I drive a rental car?
In our company there are restrictions on the territory where you can drive a rental car. You can drive troughout Moscow and Moscow region. Driving outside Moscow and Moscow region is subject to additional payment.
What documents do I need to present to rent a car?
A valid passport, a valid driving licence, any of the documents listed (a military card, an international passport, a credit or debit card, a pension certificate, an insurance certificate ( Mandatory pension insurance)), vehicle registration certificate of the vehicle, located at Genser automobile service centre, a copy of your order form from Genser automobile service centre.
